Scoring, your way

Whether you play 501, cricket or a best-of-legs match, Scoreholio tracks the match result β€” legs or games won β€” and turns it into live standings, seeding and bracket progression. Set best-of series for bracket rounds so the finals play longer than the early rounds.

Score however fits your venue: the organizer enters results from the admin screen, a tablet at each board runs an interactive scoreboard in kiosk mode, or turn on Player Scoring so players submit from their own phones. Remote Mode controls every connected scoreboard and TV from one place.

Win–loss records, point differential and head-to-head history save to every player's profile, and an SPR (Scoreholio Player Rating) carries across events.

How to run a 32-player darts blind draw

A weekly bar night: 32 players, eight boards, random partners, done in about two and a half hours.

  1. 1

    Create the tournament

Sport: darts. Team generation: Blind Draw (16 teams). Boards: 8. Format: round robin, 5 rounds, then split to a bracket.

  2. 2

    Get players in

Share the pre-registration link so people sign up ahead of time, or check walk-ups in at the door by scanning their QR code.

  3. 3

    Draw the teams

One tap draws the partners. Every player gets a push alert with their partner and board number.

  4. 4

    Score the matches

A tablet at each board, or Player Scoring from everyone's phones. Standings update live on the TV; the next round generates when the last match ends.

  5. 5

    Split to a bracket

After five rounds, send the top 8 teams into a single-elimination bracket, best-of-three for the final.

  6. 6

    Post the results

Standings, brackets and stats save to every player's profile automatically, and next week's night is one clone away.

Expect about 2Β½ hours. The tournament time calculator tunes rounds to your board count.

Common questions

How many boards do I need for 32 players?

For a blind-draw doubles night, 32 players is 16 teams β€” eight boards keeps every team playing each round; four boards works with two flights. The tournament calculator estimates total time from your player and board counts.

Can players keep their own partner?

Yes. Use Set Teams for pre-formed teams, Blind Draw for random fixed partners, or Switcholio if you want partners to rotate every round.

Does it run double elimination?

Yes β€” single elimination, double elimination, round robin into a bracket, ladders and Swiss-style pairing, up to 128-player brackets across up to 128 boards.

How do players score β€” do they need the app?

Three options: the organizer scores from the admin screen, tablets at each board run interactive scoreboards, or players score from their own phones with the free Scoreholio app (Player Scoring is part of the Competitive organizer level and up). Live standings show on any TV either way.

What does it cost to run a darts tournament?

The Social organizer level is free forever: round robins and brackets, digital scoreboards and dashboards, up to 8 courts and 32-team brackets. Competitive ($4.99/month) adds player phone scoring, game timers, custom alerts, live chat support and advanced stats; higher levels raise the court and bracket limits. Quick Tournaments (up to 16 players, 4 courts) are free for anyone with an organizer account. See pricing.
