Scoring, your way

Pool matches are races: first to a set number of racks wins. Set the race length per round — a race to 5 early, race to 9 in the final — and the scoreboard tracks racks, match result and standings. For handicapped events, linked Fargo Ratings set each player's race automatically.

Score however fits your room: the organizer enters results from the admin screen, a tablet at each table runs an interactive scoreboard, or turn on Player Scoring so players submit from their own phones. Remote Mode controls every connected scoreboard and TV from one place.

After the event, submit results to FargoRate from the organizer dashboard so ratings update without re-keying a single score.

Common questions

Does Scoreholio work with FargoRate?

Yes. Players link their FargoRate account to their Scoreholio profile, organizers can handicap singles brackets in single and double elimination using those ratings, and match results can be submitted back to FargoRate with one click.

How long does a 32-player double-elimination take?

On eight tables with short races (race to 4 or 5), plan on 5–6 hours; longer races or fewer tables stretch it. The tournament calculator estimates from your setup.

Can I run a weekly pool league?

Yes — set-schedule leagues plan the whole season up front and carry stats week to week, or run a standing ladder that players challenge up.

How do players score — do they need the app?

Three options: the organizer scores from the admin screen, tablets at each table run interactive scoreboards, or players score from their own phones with the free Scoreholio app (Player Scoring is part of the Competitive organizer level and up). Live standings show on any TV either way.

What does it cost to run a pool tournament?

The Social organizer level is free forever: round robins and brackets, digital scoreboards and dashboards, up to 8 courts and 32-team brackets. Competitive ($4.99/month) adds player phone scoring, game timers, custom alerts, live chat support and advanced stats; higher levels raise the court and bracket limits. Quick Tournaments (up to 16 players, 4 courts) are free for anyone with an organizer account. See pricing.
